Dr. Vernon J. Shazier
Senior Pastor & Champion Leader
Dr. Vernon J. Shazier brings a unique blend of pastoral heart, championship mindset, and multi-generational vision to River of Life Fellowship. As an innovative coach of leaders, he’s committed to helping people from all walks of life—from teenagers finding their purpose to seasoned adults discovering new chapters—reach “Champion Status” in their faith journey.
With a degree in Bio-Medical Engineering, Psychology, Theology and a Doctorate degree in both Leadership & Preaching, Dr. Shazier bridges the gap between tradition and innovation, speaking the language of both digital natives and those who treasure timeless truths. His experience as NFL Chaplain with the Miami Dolphins and work with the National Football Players Fathers Association has equipped him to mentor men across generations in authentic leadership.
Whether you’re a grandparent seeking to leave a spiritual legacy or a young professional navigating modern challenges, Dr. Shazier’s teaching resonates across generational lines, always pointing toward the championship life found in Christ.
