Vernon J. Shazier is Senior Pastor at River of Life Fellowship Church located on the Treasure Coast of Florida in Fort Pierce. As an innovative coach of leaders and individuals, he is committed to helping people of all walks of life reach “Champion Status.” Shazier upholds the highest standards of personal and professional integrity, being sought after as a preacher, motivational keynote speaker and lecturer in the areas of public speaking, leadership, and team development throughout the country.

Currently he is the President of The Champion Leader, Board Member and Chaplain for the National Football Players Fathers Association, Director of Football Operations at PMR Sports. He also served as NFL Chaplain with the Miami Dolphins.

Vernon holds a degree in Bio-Medical Engineering from Keiser University, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. He is also a graduate of George W. Truett Theological Seminary, Baylor University in Waco Texas, where he received a Master of Divinity in Theology.

He is married to a wonderful and supportive wife, Shawn Shazier, and has two sons, Ryan, married to Michelle, and Vernon. He also has two grandsons, Ryan Shazier II and Lyon Carter. When not serving clients or his church, Vernon enjoys attending Steeler football games, reading, going to the movies and playing golf.
